Achieve a fresher appearance while maintaining a natural expression.
Do you want to address your wrinkles? In most cases, you can achieve great results with wrinkle treatments using either laser and IPL, muscle-relaxing toxins, or non-permanent fillers at DermoCosmetic in Copenhagen, Skodsborg, and Aalborg.
What are wrinkles?
Wrinkles are a natural part of the skin's aging process. The skin becomes thinner and gradually loses its elasticity. However, some people develop wrinkles earlier than others. This may be due to lifestyle factors but can also be genetic.Almost all wrinkles can either be removed or significantly reduced, whether they result from facial expressions, sun damage, smoking, or general aging.
How can I avoid worsening wrinkles?
It is essential to use a good SPF every day. We recommend SkinCeuticals and ZO brands, which offer sunscreens for all skin types. Additionally, avoid smoking.
You can also reduce wrinkles by using retinol and vitamin A creams.
WRINKLES IN THE FOREHEAD
Get rid of your forehead wrinkles easily and effectively
Are you tired of having wrinkles on your forehead? Help is near – with a simple and effective method.
Forehead wrinkles can be removed
If you have wrinkles on your forehead, they can usually be reduced or completely removed. You choose how dramatic a result you want. However, we recommend that you preserve your natural facial expressions.

At DermoCosmetic Copenhagen and in Skodsborg, we most often treat forehead wrinkles together with wrinkles around the eyes, such as the ones between the eyes ("frown lines") or beside the eyes ("crow's feet"). This prevents the unwanted effect of the forehead potentially "drooping." Read more about the treatment process.

WRINKLES AROUND THE EYES
If you have wrinkles around your eyes, they can be reduced or completely removed. The result is a younger, fresher look – in balance with your natural features. "Crow's feet" beside the eyes are smoothed, frown lines between the eyes disappear, and the eyebrows are lifted.
A consultation for wrinkle treatment around the eyes is free at DermoCosmetic. You can choose to have the consultation and treatment at any of our DermoCosmetic clinics in Copenhagen, Skodsborg, and Aalborg.
Treatment with muscle-relaxing toxins is the most effective and safest option for wrinkle treatment. This is especially true if you have wrinkles around your eyes, between your eyes, and above your eyes. In this area, mimetic wrinkles, which appear when you move your facial muscles, are effectively treated.
If you have dark circles or hollow areas under your eyes, treatment with non-permanent fillers is often the best option.
At DermoCosmetic, we also remove wrinkles beside the eyes with CO2 laser. This treatment is particularly suitable if you have:
-
Static wrinkles (deeper wrinkles that are visible in the skin even when you’re not moving your facial muscles)
-
Crepey and loose skin
If you have superficial wrinkles around your eyes, treatments with peelings and dermaroller are often a good solution. We can guide you about all these treatments during a free and non-binding consultation.
Results of Treatment for Wrinkles Around the Eyes
The result is always a natural facial expression with preserved, lively mimics. You will no longer have a tired, worried, or angry look around your eyes.
Achieve a fresher appearance – without looking treated
At DermoCosmetic, we ensure that you maintain your natural facial expressions. In other words, everyone will notice that you look better, but no one will realize that you’ve had treatment around your eyes.
Dark Circles Under the Eyes and Hollow Eyes
Dark, hollow circles under the eyes can be lifted with non-permanent fillers, improving a tired and often dark appearance in the area. This treatment is easy to perform with convincing results. You’ll see an improvement in skin elasticity, fullness, and tone under your eyes.
Non-permanent fillers reduce your dark circles under the eyes and hollow eye areas.
At DermoCosmetic, we offer treatments for your dark circles and hollow eye areas with non-permanent fillers. You can choose to be treated at our clinics in Copenhagen, Skodsborg, or Aalborg.
The skin indentation under the eyes is lifted with non-permanent fillers, bringing it in line with the surrounding skin. This minimizes the tired and often dark look that circles can give, and removes focus from minor puffiness under the eyes.
We often complement the treatment with IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) for visible blood vessels that cause discoloration.
How is a Treatment Under and Around the Eyes with Non-Permanent Fillers Performed?
We have extensive experience in this treatment method, which requires expertise. By applying the product under the eyes, we reduce the indentation in the skin and minimize dark circles.
The treatment is performed by making a small incision on the side of the cheek. The product is then inserted using a tiny needle, avoiding injections near the eyes. This significantly reduces the risk of bruising. However, swelling may occur in the treated area for the first few days after treatment.
At DermoCosmetic, we can offer you treatment under the eyes with only a couple of injections. It’s a simple treatment with convincing results. You will see an improvement in the skin’s firmness, fullness, and tone under and around the eyes.
How Long Does the Effect of Treatment for Dark Circles Under the Eyes Last?
The effects of the treatment typically last 1 to 1.5 years. Sometimes, a touch-up treatment with a smaller amount of product is recommended after about 3-4 months.
The duration is extended if you remember to have follow-up treatments regularly at first, ensuring you’re "topping off" the results. By doing so, you'll likely need less product the next time to achieve the same effect as the first treatment.
What Causes Dark Circles and Hollow Eye Areas?
There can be several causes of dark circles under the eyes and hollow eye areas (usually under the eyes). It may be genetic, as dark circles often run in families.
Dark circles and hollow eye areas can also develop later in life, typically due to thinning skin under the eyes. The fine blood vessels become visible through the skin, causing a dark ring. As we age, the fat tissue around the eyes also decreases or shifts downward, and the muscle around the eye becomes more visible. As a result, the eyes may appear hollow.
A combination of visible blood vessels and prominent eye muscles creates an extra hollow appearance under the eyes. This often results in a tired look, especially if the skin around the eyes has become loose and crepey.
How Can I Be Sure of the Best Treatment for My Eye Area?
During a consultation, we will assess which treatment is best for you. It may involve surgery, laser treatment, or non-permanent fillers. We are probably the clinic in Denmark that performs the most of these treatments each year.
If there are distinct bags under the eyes, the solution is usually a lower eyelid surgery performed by an experienced ophthalmologist or plastic surgeon. DermoCosmetic is happy to refer you to doctors with particular expertise in this type of surgery.
How Much Non-Permanent Filler Is Needed for Treatment of Dark Circles Under the Eyes?
Typically, 0.5-1 ml of the product is used in the treatment. Often, the treatment is performed in two sessions to minimize the possibility of temporary swelling in the treated area.
Temporary Side Effects of Treatment with Non-Permanent Fillers for Dark Circles Under the Eyes
Temporary side effects in the treated areas include bruising, swelling, and redness. In 1 in 2,000 treatments, pimples resembling rashes have been observed. These side effects disappear within a few days or up to a few weeks without lasting effects.
Infection is rare. Some may experience a pimple-like rash in the area, and herpes cold sores may reactivate. In very rare cases, long-lasting granulomas (fibrous tissue lumps under or within the skin) may form.
Depending on the injection technique, unevenness in the filler deposition and potential over-correction of wrinkles may occur. This will resolve as the filler is absorbed. In some cases, a special enzyme can be used to dissolve the filler.
Non-Permanent Filler Treatment Is Ideal for Reducing Dark Circles Under the Eyes and Adding Fullness to Hollow Eye Areas.
BOTOX - REDUCES WRINKLES AND SMOOTHES
Hands often reveal our true age. Over time, our skin loses elasticity and volume, which manifests in wrinkled and loose skin. With our treatments, you can achieve a significant rejuvenation of the skin on your hands.
What happens to the hands as they age?
The skin on the face and hands are the areas of the body most exposed to sunlight throughout life, which is why they are the most noticeably affected by wrinkles.
The most effective hand rejuvenation treatments
With these hand treatments, you will regain elasticity, smoothness in the skin’s surface, and get rid of any pigment spots. At the same time, prominent veins and volume loss can be concealed with fillers. The result is a noticeable rejuvenation of your hands with a natural look.
