Before you daydream about having smooth legs in your bikini on Bali, there are a few things you need to avoid before starting your treatment.
It is important that you are not tanned before your treatment. This means you should avoid sunbathing, tanning beds, and self-tanners for a month before your treatment.
Additionally, it’s important not to epilate, wax, or use tweezers in the area where you want hair removal. These methods pull the hair out by the root and remove the pigment in the hair follicle, which we want to target with the laser. Therefore, you should avoid these methods for two months before your treatment and throughout the treatment process.
When you come for your treatment, the hair in the area should be completely shaved. We recommend doing this the day before to avoid further irritation of the skin.
Treatment Process
Here's how it works: First things first – we start with a free consultation with our experienced nurses. We will talk about your skin color, hair type, and the area of your body you want to be hair-free. In this meeting, you’ll learn everything about how the process works, what to be aware of, and we’ll create a plan for you!
How long does it take? Good question! The answer depends on how many areas you want to treat and the type of laser we use.
After your treatment, you’ll be ready to continue your day as usual. Just remember, the area might look a little red and feel slightly swollen for 2 hours to 3 days after the treatment. Don’t worry, that’s just your skin reacting to the treatment, which is completely normal.
