The principle of how fat freezing works. The system uses the principle of cryolipolysis, which removes fat tissue by drawing it into a cooling-controlled vacuum chamber. The treatment takes about 60-70 minutes and does not require anesthesia.

After the initial part of the consultation, and if you decide on treatment, your CoolTech practitioner will help create an individualized treatment plan tailored to your specific needs.

The treatment
The treatment itself does not require anesthesia, and most people experience the treatment as either pain-free or with minimal discomfort.
We take our time to apply the vacuum chamber to ensure the best effect and the gentlest treatment. While the treatment is ongoing, you can lean back, relax, take a nap, read, or work on your computer.
At the start of the treatment, you will feel the skin tighten, a slight pinching, and a pulling sensation on the skin, but in a gentle way where the skin is not harmed, and it doesn't cause significant pain.
Most people then feel local cold in the treated area. The cold sensation disappears after about 10 minutes, and the area becomes almost numb. For the next approximately 1 hour, you can relax, read, work on your computer, or take a nap.
The treatment ends with the removal of the vacuum chamber by your practitioner, who will then massage the treated area for a couple of minutes. You may experience tingling and a little discomfort as the area warms up again. This is completely normal.
After the treatment
You can resume your daily activities immediately after the treatment, there is no "downtime." In the hours following the treatment, your skin in the treated area may be red and swollen, and bruising may occur.
Most people are able to return to work the same day. Some may feel slightly unwell the day after the treatment. This can be relieved with over-the-counter pain medication.
You may experience swelling and tenderness for 1-2 weeks after the treatment, and you might feel a burning or mild tingling sensation in the treated area.
Especially if you were treated in the abdominal area, you may occasionally feel as though the area is "numb" for about 1-2 weeks afterward.
